• If your kitchen will need to be enlarged, consider contacting an architect who can draw up a plan to insure integrity of your home's structure.
• Ask friends for referrals for qualified, insured and reliable contractors to do the initial construction. Make sure to get detailed quotes and a timeline for completion.
• Consider using an interior designer not only to move your project along, but to show you the latest in kitchen trends. They'll point you to the best kitchen design and appliance showrooms, where you will start to see your dreams take shape.
