It seems Merillat (part of the Masco Builder Cabinet Group) based in Adrian, Michigan has created a solution to the 'sneaky leak' problem.
Merillat's CoreGuard sink base is designed to address the common problems of spills and leaks beneath the kitchen sink. The CoreGuard system makes it easier to see leaks with its forward tilt and is made of a non-wood material for easy clean up .
