How To Decorate Differently This Autumn

Photo courtesy of Debra Norton and Matthew Mead

If you're looking for some new ideas for decorating this season, try Matthew Mead's Blog.

White pumpkins, or fancy cats hats - whatever inspiration you need may be found a click away at Matthew's website.

Sometimes we just need a little boost from seeing something different, doing something different and sharing something different.

If you're still not sure what to do, look at the photo below and make a list of each item on the tablescape. See if you can copy that look and put a little pizazz in your life with a touch of creativity. You know, even the great artists copied or referenced other great artists.

The most important thing to remember, is that it's not that hard really. It just takes a little time, a little creativity and a will to make your life a little sweeter and a lot happier.

Why Fall is the Best Time to Garden, Decorate or Enjoying the Beach

NOTE: prior to Hurricane Sandy

What's so great about Autumn?
If you're a gardener, a homeowner or a boater this season is for you!
Just last weekend we enjoyed the Annapolis Sailboat Show
with summer-like weather during the day,
perfect for climbing aboard the sailboat of your dreams.

As a gardener, I can't wait for the fall.
Less humidity and cooler temps encourage me to enjoy gardening and
decorate the front door for the season.
As a homeowner, while our to-do list keeps growing, our grass is not growing so fast,
so we have more time to tackle inside projects.
This morning after a delivery at a client's home in Lavallette, I changed my heels for sneakers and "walked the boards" in Lavallette. Fishing boats were out,
the sky was blue,
the sand smooth and flawless.
NJ and you - perfect together in the Fall!
